I would guess somwhere in the mid 80s. Non stepped 28's with twin 496 HO - 425 HP are running in the low 80s on GPS so with the T.S. bottom and less weight it would be a quick set up and run well out in the ocean.

Wow,I was hoping for 80 ,83-85 is even better.The last time we talked I was thinking about the 36.Still not sure what I want but I really like this combo,inexpensive to run.And all the ramps near me are short, going to be tough with the 36 at low tide.

Working on it.Glad to hear you are busy.

Hope it's not true...those motors were sweet and were built super nice.
Twin LS sbc is the way to go for anyone considering twins...BBC power and lightweight!

my 2001 twin 496ho runs bang on 82mph gps in a light chopp would prob do a bit more but allways had heavey fuel load on the high speed runs i have done.
