Default Since I haven't touched the boat...

I haven't touched the boat in about a month.
Work has been absolutely nuts. I've been doing 12 hr days for over a month, and will be for at least 2 more weeks.
I've been sick with a nasty cold for the past week and a half, and just all around miserable.
BUT...
The wife has been spending the evenings searching for a new tow vehicle.
Drove up to Columbus yesterday and picked this up.
2004 Avalanche 2500 4x4 8100 Vortec with only 33K on it.
The 2500 part was hard to find.
AND...
It's even the same color I had planned for the boat - should make for a good looking rig once I get it all put together.

Makes the old truck look tiny.
Anyone looking for a 96' C1500 standard cab, full size bed 5.7, 58K great shape.

Nice truck! My buddy has one and loves it. And don't think we don't know that the boat thing wasn't just an exucse to get a bigger truck!

Love my 05 2500 Avalanche. Great truck, comfy. Pulls my 35 without any issues.

Thanks guys.
I'm kinda geeked getting back into a "big" truck.
I had to get rid of my Dually 5 yrs ago, and I really liked that one.
This one has a good feel of a bigger truck, yet more comfortable than a "work" type truck.

Sean - you got me pegged dude.
I told the wife I needed a 2500 for towing - she's been searching the internet every night for a few months now looking for the right deal. (Any of you that have followed my project(s) know that my wife JJ is like my personal shopper - only she shops for cool stuff like boat parts and such).
She just doesn't realize that the reason I wanted a 2500 is because the next boat I'm gonna tow home is probably gonna be an old Mistress, and I'll need the 10K tow capicity to haul the old girl.
Don't worry, it'll get parked right next to my Pantera, my Pantera isn't going anywhere soon - especially if I don't get some more work done on her.

Looking to get about $5K.
Seems like the market on these trucks is about that, but they all have much higher mileage.
It could use new tires, which I plan on doing this weekend, but willing to negotiate, without the tires as well if you want to put your own on.
