Hey Griff,

I am still hoping to debut the boat at LOTO, the motor will probably be ordered early next week and we settled on a Myco Trailer which should also be ordered next week.

I have someone looking in on the boat since I am so far away, I hope to maybe post some pictures as it progresses along. Jo said it came out of the mold last week and no flaws.

Jo indicated he has shown my poor attempt at being a graphic artist to the painter and I should hear in a couple of weeks on that. I am sure Jo is busy he e-mailed me the other day about 10pm our time.

Maybe we can start a pool, guess the date I get the boat and guess the top speed! Kinda like a baby pool only with horsepower.

Von, actually, I talked to Jo today. He said he just got the hull and deck put together. Also said that the Mem wk was going to be close for a completion date. Said the paint was going to take a while.

Yea,

I know it's going to be close, but hope springs eternal! I set him back about 5 days over the last week due to a motor question. I don't want to rush him and have a poor job done on rigging or something like that but it's also 7 weeks and he also said that a lot of the hardware was being made already.

We'll see, from the times I get e-mail from him, if he's still at the shop he puts in pretty long days and I can appreciate that. I've never had a boat custom built before and I can say that Jo has answered my questions timely.

No guesses on the top speed?

Jo said he thought you'd see 80mph, so I'll guess 78-79mph. probably about 5mph faster than me, DAMMIT!!!!!
