Question Pantera 24 Interior

Ok guys,

Need some help.
My cabin is as beautiful as plain ol' unpainted fiberglass can be.

And you know how the other half feels about that.

Looking to add 2 deck hatches, sometype of headliner, large padded cushion to lay down etc.

So what I need are ideas and pics of finished cabins of any 24's
out there.

Thanks,
Pantera24

I will try to get a photo of what I have done with mine after I remove the winter cover. I glued some Indoor/outdoor rated carpet, The nice low nap stuff not the green plastic hair. If much care is taken on the install the seems will be barely visible hidden in the corners. I got mine at a carpet store but now I think the best deal would be at Home Depo or similar. For cushions if you can find a set from a 70's-80's searay srv240 they fit really well and have them covered as you like. If you make the cushions from scratch I would suggest the high density foam, I think it is called rebond. It is like the same stuff as the high quality carpet foam that is used under wall to wall, It looks like many different foam pieces reglued togher and is much more dense than standard stitchfoam. 1 1/2" or so will be more confortable than 3" of the softer foam. A good uhpolstery shop can probably make a nice cushion for you. My berth cushions are basic white marine vinyl. Another thing to consider in the cabin is storage space. I mounted a small 4 drawer plastic unit to starboard. This gives me access to the top drawer from the helm for binoculars etc... and keeps small stuff from go'in airborne in rough seas. I stay overnight on my boat a few times a year and it is confortable enough. I have tried thoose gear hammocks with limited success. Hope this helps The Ironman.
