We just completed upgrading Greg ( Pantera 572) 28' Pantera with a brand new 525 EFI package with XR drive, "new style" aluminum swim platform, silencers, and upgraded his "full hydraulic" steering system.
He is ready to rock and roll.
Greg and his Father are great people.
Regards,

Greg,
I sure am glad you you went to Jo for some reliable power.I am glad you took my advise on Not using a Grimes motor or having any of the many incompetent mechanics around here work on your boat.Jo is the only one I would ever let do anything to that boat.See you on the lake!

Offshoresteve, Definitely the right choice going with the new 525/xr. Thanks again for your help. I should be out this weekend . What do I look for you in???
FT525, I will post speeds for you. I want to put some time on it before I get my prop work done. We ought to be able to help each other getting these boats going to their potential. Your boat looks incredible .
I have been talking with Jo since last summer when I purchased my boat in California.
After deciding my 509 just did not have sufficient power to push the 28, I took the boat to Jo in December for a repower.
Also had the opportunity to spend some time at the plant a week ago. What an operation. These guys are very very busy.
Both Jo and Pepe are all over everything that is going on. No stage of anything going on gets finished with out either Pepe or Jo or both personally inspecting it. I've seen for myself why their boats turn out like they do.
Personally, I've never seen the attention to detail that I saw while I was there over a two day period.
We encountered every snag you can imagine on the final install. Everything was worked out with no shortcuts. Plenty of short cuts could have been taken. Pepe let me know of several previous rigging problems I was not even aware of. All redone perfectly.
No 8 to 5 days. Try 6am to 9pm and 6pm to 11pm. Never have I witnessed this kind dedication to a business and customers.
I'll post some more info and photos when I get it home.
