28 Pantera

What do you guys really think this boat is worth with the way the market is? The owner does not have alot of info on the drives and they could be a bit expensive to service or repair. Its an old boat and needs some updating, plus we all know how every little thing will nickel and dime you to death. I'm seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on buying it. Would just like to hear the opinions of the Pantera family.

Thanks Tom

TOM buy it, so i dont have to, For what his asking seem like fair price. IT does needs some TLC. Ive been talking to the owner for about a year now.

Drives are really hard to get parts for and someone who knows how to work on them is hard to find too. But they look bad A$$,

I would love to owne this boat but found a good deal on a newer boat and needs less love.

Drives do sound expensive to work on prop shafts alone are 1500$ from what I have been told and not everyone will even work on them? I was even told that the tools alone to work on them were 12,000$.

Slp..... what did you find?

I have a guy who knows them in and out and would have no problem with them.

he told me SELL THEM..... parts are worth a ton, then pick up some bravo's and do some glass work and problem solved.

I called a few other places trying to just find some parts and everyone told me good luck..... Or buy a whole unit used and hope they have the good parts that you may need.

But ya Just a big expensive drive. BUT SOOOOO cool looking.

Also, i think El Indio may have a set or 2 of #3s lying around.
Keep a spare pair ready to go...
