That sucks Griff.

I'd do the same thing.....swap drives for the weekend and go have fun!

THat blows

I read the post in GD. Like you said, better than having it happen at LOTO and then spending the weekend w/o.

Glad there was someone to get you home out there, that's the only thing I dislike about the river and a single engine boat.

THat and those Damn Logs!!!

Good news is that I've got an Imco Extreme upper being overnighted and the Pantera WILL be fixed for LOTO. Just have to see what the ins co says now.

As far as the river and a single, I've always had good luck with good samaritans. I ran out of gas once and believe it or not, some guys on PWC's saw me floating around the Bellevue bridge and just gave me a couple gallons they had in a tank at the sandbar they had camped on and refused the $20 I was trying to give them. Also, been towed in couple times with a spun belt and ignition problem. I've also towed people a few times also.

GF, Just back from LOTO last night. Brought the boat home to give it a good clean up. Also ran into some debris on the way to Big Dicks on Mon. and it ran between the drive shower pick up and the prop and broke off about 5 inches of my cavitation plate on one side. Back to the MWP shop it will go, but shouldn't be any big deal.

Boat did pretty well at LOTO and I definately ran it hard. It was still rough as hell though. It was by far the roughest I have been in there. With 3-5 footers from every direction, I think it was a rough ride for almost everyone.
