He's going old school ! He won't like my deck . I know myself and a few other Pantera owners over the years have tried to get Jo to replace our decks and have been turned away .
This played a big roll in us building the new deck and I hope to be able to change the deck out on other 24/4's that want an update .

I will probably like it... Just not for my boat.

Any thought of doing a 26' X 7.5' or 27' X 7.75' sit down. Best of both worlds 24 feel with 28 space and capabilities given updated pad and weight design specs. I'd be very tempted to sign up he he he

The Deck will be the same for our new construction and our 24/7 recap jobs . The new mold is getting the rear swim extension built into it and we will have a separate mold for the extension to be added on other 24/7's like on the Y2k's . The total length with the new deck will be just under 26' ..

Did NOT provoke a ball busting war with my post and I have had very intelligent discussions with sr about superboat so I will not be sucked in to this as well lets just say nobody cares if I have been faster in a 21, 24 , or 30 foot boat. And quite honestly comments like that will turn off potential buyers.

My boy has a Donzi 22 classic with 900+HP blower motor with bravo xr ITS w/ SSM -2 lower with a 12'' pad.....if you want to talk about crazy..109 MPH at 2/3 throttle ...just saying..

I have all intention of going 100 + in my Pantera . I know it can be done safely .

I'm not trying to sell boats on this thread I was just explaining what lead to the delay on my build .

I don't think the Heir to Superboat should be on the Pantera threads stirring up crap .

This is not a challenge or a bet . It is just a personal goal that I have for a boat that I have had for a long time .

John Coen Jr has some issues with me and this is his attempt to shake things up but in trying to do so he is damaging his dads brand .

Stepped/padded and blue printed with a low CG should be a really stable ride. As long as every thing is set up right. I think i might do some research on inverted chine rails to help it corner like a ferrari, It might be prone to slide out with a pad in a high speed turn.

If it is the same Angelo on Lake George with the red Pantera then I have it. 3 years now.

Still has 30" tabs but huge power is now in a 26' American Offshore.

Boat now has a 600hp 496 and runs strong.
Stripped right now getting a fresh transom :)
