didnt a pantera boat set some sort of record for a miami to nyc run? is this the boat??

Yes but in a 24' with twin 2.4's
actually the 2nd and 3rd 2.4's ever built.
The pic you have above is a 28'
I'm sure Pepe would have loved to have done it in a 28'.

He didn't make the run with his wife. I can't remember who he ran with but I remember him saying Linda was worried that she hadn't heard from him when they were stuck on the sandbar.

My Father did the Miami to New York Record Run in 1978 in a Pantera 24' and Ralph Linero was in the boat with him.
