Decided to reinforce the hatch a bit as it was flexing when I stood on it.
I used epoxy resin for this job. A couple pics: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps85b28c05.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps53fbe8de.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...pse983fd79.jpg |
Finally got some epoxy primer on the hatch, console and in the bilge today!

And, another big day today.
Got the rest of the dplf epoxy primer on. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psb6fe8ca7.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psc3efebe0.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...pse8bde1de.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps00ed4bde.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps48081c41.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps71e19aca.jpg Next is two coats of dps surfacing primer and more blocking. The boat is actually pretty straight but I'm trying to see just how flat I can get it. |
Awesome!

Great job Rob!

Shot the ppg dps primer/surfacer over the epoxy this morning.
I'll be blocking this down all week in anticipation of the final sealer and then some color. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...psdee7ce39.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps74911002.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps2ee5970d.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...ps8709c35f.jpg The surfacer is grey but it's hard to see in the pics |
