Well we found more rot than just my transom. Looks like another 79 pantera is getting restored in the near future. I'm studying this thread. Any pointers will be appreciated.

Boat looks good! What are you using for seats? I converted my 24 to full sit down race buckets so i have the drop out bolsters for sale in the swap shop and on craigslist in NJ if your interested..

Update on the 24-7:

I'm in the thick of the painting right now. It's coming along nicely but this stage takes FOREVER!

I'm using all ppg "a" line product. All in all I have over 20 different containers of different ppg product.
Here's a pic of the shop setup for paint:


I masked off the deck and bottom and shot a sealer coat of dplf on Saturday morning:




Here's the HIN number masked off. I wanted to preserve the integrity of the number and this "window" will only be cleared.


And here's some color!

Shot the white for the boot stripe and the "pantera" on the sides:


You can see the green tape for the stripe in this pic:


Here's the 3m masking vinyl for the word "pantera":

I had to shoot a bit more white on the back corners, that's why the boot stripe tape is hanging loose. Gotta wait 8 hours to tape.
