I thought Pepe told me once the SE deck was a little taller toward the cockpit, but I could be wrong.

Maybe, but I doubt it, that would take an entirely different mold(I think). From what I could tell when I had the deck off of mine, the outboard boats had I/O decks that were modified to have the splashwell, seemed to me they all came from the same mold.

Just looked at Ziemer's for sale thread, and his deck looks the same as mine, except for having the vee molded into it, see the third pic down.

A view looking out onto the deck from the cockpit.

Looking at this pic, it DOES appear that having the vee extend forward would add slight headroom at the center of the cabin vs. having the "Bump up" for the straight windscreen running straight across.

Just giving you trouble. I think most Sport models do have the pod. I like the new race style fairing/dash like T-mones, Army boat, etc. Are the new glass Sport dash's all the same? Seems like some have more cut out for more cockpit room. Is this true?

I thought they had 2 different deck molds? Maybe they do have a insert plug. Where the transom meets the deck is different too. At that point, I mean. The deck at the back isn't as tall...more flat, cut down. Pepe, Joe?

On mine the splashwell was weird, like it was molded to the hull at the back, I cut the transom cap to seperate, then I made a mold, and reconfigured it before reinstalling.

There are 2 different deck molds for the 24' model. The Sport is a "racier" version while the SE has easier access to the cabin with a flip up cabin door, a bit more head room as you step down, facing seats, different dash, closet, etc. etc.
