not yet. the boat is in storage for the winter. im going to do a tune up plugs wires cap rotor. just things that havent been done in a while. 1 motor has a very slight misfire that can be felt at idle so i could be down a cyl when im running. all littlle stuff to do in the spring. i need to get the indicators on so i know where my drives are since 1 moves a little faster than the other. cant wait for summer!!!

Hey Man congrat's on getting the boat you really wanted! Opinions are like a$$holes but if you dont have msd on those motors yet please do it was like night and day difference for the 454 mag efi that I had a couple of years ago. Mine also had the miss at idle until i put on msd 6al marine ign. It also would crank at the bump of key even with battery fairly low

LOL i had a msd on my 98 yukon. it got rid of the infamous GM misfire at idle too. when i traded the truck in i took the msd off and the truck wouldnt start because the cap and rotor was soo beat. the factory ignition wouldnt jump the gap lol. couple more months to go!!!!

I dont doubt that at all but the 96-00 vortec ign sucks anyway. I was just making helpful comment based on exp I had with mine in the past. I have no long term exp with msd ign and probably never will again. All my toys have wheels two diesels and two gas lexus-never need msd, and 92 z conv with ls1 still no need for msd. But anyway man enjoy your boat that is one thing I wont have for a while but when I do it will be a pantera for sure.
