Hmmmm... a single 1995 28 that has been passed down more than i like to think... and hasn't been updated since hotduck had it? I don't think Griff did much to it, except enjoy it.

Thirsty Turtle's, i mean Bullet88s boat is a nice one. But to get it's drive train up to where dru's boat is will take $$, or he may not even want to... or he can take his time.
(Quick math: upgrade 502s to 550hp: $4000ea+$3000ea exhuast, Upgrade to imco internals on B1s($2000ea) Fully Hyd Steering: $4000... and those $s are conservative, ask AR15... who does his work himself.

But some may not like the red interior of dru's boat (subjective)... $3000-5000 for an all white reskin? Wetsand the hull to get full white ($1500?).

And no offense to Bullet 88, but the best deals are going overseas... and Ziemers 24, for 18k was a f'n steal.

You all can compare boats all you want by looking at ads, or comparing notes on these forums, but you have to KNOW what it takes to get a boat where it is.

So mgh had a good line and a good price on an AT.
They make a great boat... BUT why do you think the price was so good? Cause it NEEDED a new transom! So you gave up? A transom should only cost $3000-5000 to fix properly.

Why doesn't someone buy that cheap ass 28 in texas and drop a pair of ilmors w/ indy drives and have PPI do the interior, and have Mel Riggs finish rigging it...
Hull $3000
Engines Drives Interior Rigging $125k.
oops... don't forget to check for moisture... or it will all come apart on your first ride and be at the bottom of the lake. So, throw in $8000 to get the stringers and bulkheads and transom done properly.
Now just ad $20k for a killer paint job.

Oh, and...
Cosmetics are cheap compared to hardware! EVERYTIME!
MY OLD ONE WAS A 96 LOL. whipples might just get me over the 550hp mark.

Woot thats my find find of the day... Your welcome rob. I think this was a old ad cause i think a member bougt it and tore it apart.

PPJ.... I really dont like being called a tire kicker.

Fact of the matter im waiting for the one.
The one includes. Black 28, MikesB4 Single race, The 3a early 2000 in FL, OPA's 3man(which im close friends with and he will never sell for even 50K+), And just about any other 28 Pantera race boat. I would consider the 24 Army boat but... i would rather have a 28 all day long.

I have been shopping for the right one. And When it comes to "the deal" Cash is king.

So ill save up my cash and wait. I dont recall ever getting into a pissing match about whats a boat is worth with a seller.

I have some irons in the fire as well, well i think only one now.

In my mind now, why comprise on what i really want. Save up and but what i really want.

A good deal is when both the seller and buyer are happy.

And Snyder vs Granmole?! I'd still vote for Snyder over that nit wit any day!!!!
Thanks neil, id hate to have u take that ride though....its nooo fun
Ballast tank staying, got two bolsters for it, bridging the gap between them with a jump seat and have a 25 gal aux fuel tank that'll be mounted under the jump seat.

DRU.... Apologies on hi jacking the thread....
Re post all the info while the threads hot.....
And ill keep the nonsense to a minimum.
