Really? I had no idea on that, glad you posted. I'm beginning to look for one and was thinking about pursuing the OP's boat. But nevermind, it is a beautiful boat and like someone else mentioned, one owner helps.

Any links or info on the ones that sold for low to mid 20k's?

That is worth the $$$ all day long if it all checks out. Good luck finding something clean and no hidden issues for 20k.

You have been looking for more than a year, I'm curious why you didn't buy either of them. Were they still overpriced?

the one from craigslist forum over the summer is still for sale. he was at 27k in maryland as of early october still for sale. with a brand new triple axle trailer which i would recommend with a twin boat. my twin doesnt tow as nice as my single did. id rather have a triple axle trailer. the 02 is listed for 39k but has some horror stories. i got the history from a previous owner about motor problems and drive problems. this 98 is a nice clean well rigged boat. price doesnt seem out of whack i just would have chosen a differernt color for the interior. there is another 99 which is really clean but again not a fan of interior for 40ish. my 94 didnt see water til 01 and has never sat in water always on the trailer how much you wanna give me for mine??

buddy....lol. they are going to crucify you in here! I think alot of guys who own boats and pay to fix/run/operate them find it a bit insulting when people who dont own a boat talk like experts on value and cost.

Not to stir the pot but 'great shape' is a relative term......my boat is in pretty good shape and it is still a money pit.

And just asking.... why didnt you buy one of the 25k boats? holding out for them to drop to 10grand? blow up the 700hp motor you will need to make one of these run respectably fast and see what it costs to fix it.

I spent 30 grand on mine in the last 3 years. Brand new transom assembly, props, completely rebuilt 675HP motor, carbs, completely rebuilt drive, bilge redone, etc.

Unless you want to run a slow assed pantera you have to spend money. But what do I know........I want a skater but for now I will only run what I can afford to break.

Thats why I drive a Z06 instead of an F430......and a Pantera instead of a Skater.
