im sure it will "need a few bucks put in to it", IF YOU OWNED IT, to make it however YOU want it to be.
Yes, "it SHOULD have external steering", let me NOT explain why IT DOESN'T.
the fact is that, the boat is COMPLETE, it runs, good, and it is being sold, from a PRIVATE OWNER, what anyone does with it once title is transferred under their name, does not matter or mean anything to me.
for the time being, it is what it is, the boat still belongs to me, i have no plans to make it as you desire, sorry
anyone with offers, the appropriate funds, and interest can take proper steps to get more 411 etcetcetc
man someone's a little sensitive LOL
I'll give you 35k you throw in the steering and a merc700

But IMO, any boat running in the 60s should have full external steering running to the helm for saftely purposes.
No big deal... its like $3000-4000 to get that done.
And thats peanuts when looking at the whole picture of boat ownership.
The boat looks real nice in the pics posted.
Good luck w/ the sale... it is reasonably priced.
Those are not peanuts Storm. Add on $10-15K for new cabin upholstery and trailer. Then theres the 496 mags.......... With what looks like original exhaust. If it was repowered in 2007 and the exhaust is original they will of had 7 years of use in FL. Since there's no hydraulic steering the gimbal rings could be week and will need to be thoroughly checked out........

If you want a new boat then that's what u should get. I think this boat is priced rite for what it is. By the way if u wanted to redue the cabin upholstery your looking at around 5k down here in fl, as far as the steering goes if you where Jo racer I would invest in hydronic for around another 5k . But the boat is a good running boat as is with very litle hours on her.
