28's for sale
 

Hopefully warm weather is around the corner, so ive started my search. What 28's are out there for sale that are not in the obvious places like here, cl, boat trader, yatchworld, powerboatlistings. I would like a single but a twin is not out of the question with a cuddy, and around $30,000 is what im looking to spend. I sold my 311 last summer, how will the ride of a 28 compare to the ride of a 311. Thanks for the help and imput.

slp kyle seems to know where they all are. email [email protected] he still has his 28 twin for sale. needs a little cosmetic work but i bet it could be bought in the lower 20's. not a bad looking twin

There is a guy in the Saber Forum that is considering selleng his 28 Saber that is a single.

Your 311 was much heavier, 3' longer and rides better in sloppy water. The 28 Pantera single is more solid and built much better and doesn't rattle like a Formula.
I had a freind with a 311 when I had my 28 Pantera.

buy dude sweet's 28 single. buy a crate motor and go boating for under 20k. i got a quote to ship that to ny for 2k from california.

That's pretty much the bottom line. Physics doesn't care about boat brands.

Is that the boat in NY area, white with the green strip and the panther on the side of the hull?

I try to keep a eye out for em all. I have lost one.... Was in the northern florida pan handle. Needed power and a good cleaning but guys was hard for cash and phone number i had is no good.

Guys name is Danny Campbell . I bought my daughter a new car and the sales person is good friends with him and hangs out with him on the boat a couple of time a year . He said the boat is in need of some love . How do you know it is all white now .

I think if you wet sand the boat down to all white gel, rip off the apache logo, and replace w/ a pantera oval, it'll sell real quick.

Most of the pics were taken in October of 2011. The pics show its current condition. Its an OK boat........ the tags are current. We keep it at our family's lakehouse, which is also in OK.

Come see the boat you will not be dissapointed. This boat has a much deeper freeboard than the 28 pantera. When you stand up your not going to feel like your about to fall out. The cabin is much much bigger, has more headroom and much more user friendly.........its got a refridgerator that you could pull out and replace with AC. What the apache gives up in the smaller cockpit is made up for in the cabin. The engine bay is much bigger as well. You can put a pair of 850's in without having to modify the hatch. The hull is solid fiberglass all the way to the rubrail, whereas Pantera has a wood cored hull sides. Its also much better balanced and does better in rough water IMO..........I don't need to use trim tabs at all and there is zero porpoise in flat water or rough.

I seem to recall when you were selling your last pantera that your pictures were in front of Palm trees????? Didnt know NY has them.

I have never felt like I was going to fall out of any of my 28's and I even like the cabin.

my cabin works just fine. the only better cabin is in a cigarette bullet.. it has "the chair"
