i think the link to the 150 ish court judgments should be re posted we know thats true ,a least people who may wish to buy a new boat from them can see if they can afford the boat and the lawyer |
unbelievable that the truth be told and the thread poof's away
|
Pretty simple really. Kind of like government for the people. You know, we are for the people who give us polititians money (ie lobbyist, corps, etc.). No different here. Sponsors/advertisers give money to keep site up which is great. But when we the people cross the line...well you know who has the power.

|
after court solves my problem, i need to find a forum. a place that honest people giving honest advices and a place for all those good guys to share their boating experience... this is ridiculous...
|
Nice, hide the true buisness practices from potenial buyers.
Totally chicken chit move OSO. Hope you all sleep well....... |
I'm a new member but I think OSO has lost credibility for deleting that thread, it was truthful and informative and think it is disgraceful that they continue to hide the truth from fellow boaters and loyal members of this forum!
The next guy that falls victim to Pantera could have avoided it if the thread was still active, I could have been one of the next guys and I thank everyone who was truthful and may have saved me my hard earned $$$! Just a thought can't somebody post in the beware section of the forum about these Pantera guys? |

Not, unless all of the previous threads have been deleted too. ;) I thought that it was an accepted process in the industry to get someones deposit so the previous guys boat can be finished. Don't worry, your boat will get finished (I've never heard of one not getting finished by these guys).....but another sucker has to be found! :D |

Don't feed the trolls. There's been too much ugliness here lately. :)

This is someone elses house, and if they want to remove controversial postings, good for them. With all of the nonsense going on here lately, I'm surprised the moderators haven't just quit. It's like an insane asylum. Back under my rock...

I'm just like you. A visitor to the site. I feel terible for you and this predicament. It's my opinion that this matter between you and the manufacturer is obviously ugly and very legally involved. As a site owner, IB most likely does not want to be in a position to provide a public forum which may be construed as libelous to the manufacturer later on. Right now, it's your word against theirs. After you win a judgement in court, which is public record, you would probably be allowed to post THAT all day long. Good luck, and my apologies for rubbing you the wrong way. That was not my intent. I hope you get your money back, or your product as promised. Pasquesi |
