Sneak peek of new Pantera 28' SR / 600 SCI
5 Attachment(s)
Here is a sneak peek of a new Pantera 28' SR being powered by a single Mercury Racing 600 SCI / Bravo 1 XR with I.T.S. custom colored in devil red by Mercury.
We are completing the rigging now and I will post better pictures in the coming days as we get closer to completion and sea trial. We are installing a sea strainer, pop up indicators, GPS, custom sound system, etc. etc. this week. Should be a really good looking boat once completed built to our customers exact specifications. I will take pictures and video with our customer ( OSO member ) at sea trial while testing out in the ocean. JO |

Here is some of the engine room wiring in progress. Custom upholstery is being made in silver carbon with charcoal colored accents. Seat bases, swim platform and deck hardware were all powdercoated flat black. We also went with a stainless steel polished rub rail.

"testing out in the ocean" - Yes!! We do not wan't any picture's from the inner bay or ramp this time haha. Real Pantera condition out in the ocean!! Keep up the good energy and complete Berk's boat now so we can keep on going forward! Take care and say hello to the old man from me! :) Mange |

Engine room wiring just about complete. We mounted the XR drive a bit higher with the ITS set back and notched transom. Should be worth a few more MPH. CMI mufflers are also going on it. Will need to try a 4 and 5 blade to see what works better. Expecting speeds in the 80s but built and set up to do it out in the "ocean".
This new 28' SR should also see plenty rough water in Michigan. JO |
My guess is 88mph .... ....
|
good looking for sure
|
looks great, I saw that boat when it was just a bare hull deck was not even on.
|

These CMI mufflers are very easy to remove and install. Our customer needs them for his area. Will try them both ways at sea trial and see if there is any performance loss with them installed.
Swim platform is going on next week powdercoated flat black. JO |
Yeah he does, I will not be back to the west side of the state with my new boat for that reason. The harassment of powerboaters is unreal in the grand haven area. It's a damn shame too.
|
Looking good buddy, can't wait to see her in person.

lol maybe they dont want you to disrupt a certian feeding time of a ultra rare endangered bird that lives in the top of a tree near where you keep your boat.... loud exhaust might scare it lol fockin crybaby treehuggers .... they cry about loud exhaust in my area too so we fire up the merc 600's with 5 inch dry exhaust in my buddies boat and hey look at that we cant hear them crying anymore lol

It is painted with similar colors to this Cig.
Knew the sides were paint, but wasn't sure on the deck. Jo did one a couple years back with the light gray gel that came out really nice. Good luck with it! |
DISGRACEFUL! Pantera you guys are the lowest of the low and I don't understand how anybody can come on here and praise you for anything you do! You start a new thread and ignore all the questions that NEED to be answered!
You guys are Cold Hearted crooks and you deserve to fail! How can you sleep well at night? |
This thread belongs to Mark new Pantera 28' SR build. If you feel so strongly about it why dont you stop by here and tell us in person instead of hiding behind a computer since you "claim" to live in Jupiter, Fl.

PP Lets not get this thread deleted. I don't see a Leon Brodsky from Jupiter anywhere on google. |
Boat looks great! I hope to see it in person this summer.

Lets not get this thread deleted. I don't see a Leon Brodsky from Jupiter anywhere on google. Try Brodsky you may have more luck as you probably couldn't pronounce my first name that's why I use Leon, my family are all over FL inc West palm beach & Miami. Your obviously not a PI or detective. |
Wulf,
There are two other threads you can voice your opinion on. Why not show a little respect and leave M39976's boat thread alone? |
I'm not being disrespectful, just had to voice my opionion as i think it is disgraceful but I have said all I'm going to on this thread. Enjoy your day.
