Thanks guys! I really can't wait till I have everything. I'm just thinking of the summer to keep me going lol

Do any of you guys have a hydraulic steering system laying around somewhere or know of where I can get one for a good price? I'd appreciate any help, thanks again

I have the hynautic system that was on my TRS . You would need to fabricate a few little parts but $500 and I'll give you the helm , hoses , resivour , rams , and wing plate that I used ! Keeping old school !

I'm going to try and go hydraulic if not I will be giving you call!

When buying a coupler, do they have individual ones for ford and for Chevy or does one fit both?

Guys any help with the coupler question?

And yesterday we threw some gelcoat on the transom after the paste was put on the day before to help get rid of all the cracks from before that just sanding didn't take care of. Now ill sand the gelcoat and hopefully that will be enough so I can finally open that transom already

I would plug the holes on the back of the deck and run them on the side, it gets really wet inside the engine bay with those holes there from all the wake mist blowing up into them it corroded the hell out of my trim and tab pumps which were only 2 years old when i bought the boat

So after laying primer I think I might have to paint the whole boat black cause it looks so bad ass hahaa Afer spraying it I realized that we didnt do such a bad job on the deck and the rest of the boat. The deck was my main concern cause it was so bad but Im very pleased with how it came out. The inside came out pretty good as well so here are a few pics. Hopefully by wednesday I can have it painted and fix the couple defects it has here and there but hey its a 78'!

What color are you doing bro? I'm going to do mine like the first boat. White deck and bottom and black sides and windscreen.
