Default 24 pantera etc. what kind of speeds from how much power?

mine is a TRS boat now, but probably won't stay that way for more than a year or two. probably getting 450 or so hp jumped-up L29 for it's first engine. just wondering everything from 260-alpha to about 700 hp-high xdim-imcos and even a few arnies have been put in these hulls. just wondering what the end results come out to. edit; tomas wallin's numbers don't count. i don't have 5 years to blueprint my bottom.

I have TMONE's original 24 Sport. 509BBC, 575hp with Bravo 1. 80mph running a Hydromotive P5X 15x25 at 5800rpm's. Some of the gear heads say there is more to be had from this setup but 80mph is plenty for me. LOL

I had 560hp in an 1995 24SE, spinning a 23M+ approx. 5700rpm.
I saw a best of 75, but the next few owners saw closer to 78-80.

you know, with a few samples we might be able to create a speed-hp calculator since it is a pretty big cross section of very similar-i hate to say identical-hulls.

I'm hoping to get my junk into the high 80's.
Projected HP is 650ish.
I flipped my hull and straightened the bottom to the best of my ability.
Time will tell, I suppose.

I didn't corespond with Tomas but I read his thread more than a few times.
I'm sure my hull is heavy as its a really early one.
Hopefully, by this summer, I'll know.

Thanks for the compliment.

24 Pantera TRS mirage 23p said to be 400-425hp would flicker 70mph light fuel 1 person. Two people with fuel 68mph was the norm.

My post was with the old setup. New setup hasn't been propped or run hard yet.
