Hey Albert...good luck w/ the boat

Im just curious..i have the same exact boat 1996. but it was not rigged by Jo. so im tryin to get it set up properly . Im pretty sure we are between 600 and 650hp too. but we are still runnin real slow.
So, when you get down there, I would appreciate any help you guys could give me. ie : prop shaft from boat bottom
(Im at 2 3/4"), battery location, (rear, or forward) My 2 are under dash. im thinkin about moving them into the engine comp.

Thanks and good luck. maybe well meet in Marathon

HI BRUCE,HAVE YOU DYNOED THE MOTOR TO REALLY SEE AT WHAT RPM THE MOTOR HAS THE MOST POWER AND THE TOURQE.
NEVERTHELESS,BRUCE IF I WERE YOU I WOULD LEAVE THE BOAT WITH JO TO REALLY GET THE FEAL AND FIX WHATEVER PROBLEMS IT MAY HAVE.I KNOW YOU HAVE A 1.5 RATIO BUT I DONT KNOW YOUR X-DIMINSIONS OR YOUR SET BACK,REGARDLESS YOU SHOULD BE IN THE 80`S WITH THAT SET UP.QUOTE ON QUOTE THAT IS IF YOU HAVE 600+HP.WHAT KIND OF SET UP DO YOU HAVE IN THE MOTOR,ALUMINUM HEADS WHAT BRAND AND ARE THEY CNC PORTED,WHAT SIZE CAM,WHAT INTAKE AND CFM WHAT COMPRESSION,SOLID OR HYD ROLLER SPRING PRESSURE.MAN BRUCE I KNOW YOU MUST HAVE GOOD **** IN YOUR MOTOR BECAUSE YOU ARE A RACE FREAK AND I KNOW YOU KEEP UP WITH YOUR STUFF.IF YOU HAVENT DYNOED THE MOTOR,I SUGGEST THAT IS A PRIORITY TO GET ALL THE LOOSE ENDS OUT OF THE WAY AND IF THE MOTOR IS GOING TO BREAK BETTER IN THE DYNO THAN IN THE LAST LAP BEING AHEAD.BRUCE I WILL MEET YOU IN MARATHON WEATHER I RACE OR NOT I WILL BE THERE WITH MY BOAT EVERYHTING PERMITS AND I WILL TAKE YOU OUT ON THE WATER SO YOU CAN SEE ANY DIFFERENCES IN THE WAY MINE RIDES TO YOURS.
ALBERT

I need a ride in a 28, I have raced close to 20 races in the last 3 years, put countless other hours on my 24, and I have never even been for a ride in a 28 WTF!!
