how fast are the 28 footers with the new 525's please give me the #'s for both pleasure model and race model , and this may sound silly but what is a notched transom, what are the pro's and con's, should my new pantera have one.

Here is a pic of my notched transom. The bottom of the V stops about 10" before the transom. Suppose to help get cleaner water to the prop.
