Just joined the family!
I finally found the right one!
She's been taken back to her birthplace for a freshening up! I am quite the proud Papa. |

And a bit of the business end.

I would like to thank Pepe, Jo, Linda and especially Barbara for all their help they have given me in aquiring this boat. I am extremely happy to be an owner of a Pantera. Right now I would not have it any other way.
I would also like to thank a few OSO members for their expertise and opinions, from which I have learned greatly from (and still am). You know who you are. All I can say is, great days to come! :D |
Stormrider,
As the "seniors" (Pantera owners that is) have said to me: "welcome to the Pantera family"! The business end looks very similar to my new addition. Looks good. What year and can you give us the specs? GB  |
what engine does that bad boy have?
|
It has a 454 Magnum 365hp.
Full hydraulic Marine Machine steering. Drive shower. K planes. Ya know... the usual stuff. I can't exactly remember the prop, but she ran strong... on the speedo 70mph at 4950rpm with the drive tucked in and tabs up. This is my 1st HP boat. I can see I've got some learning to do. It sure is different from the 40ft twin diesel express sport-fisherman I'm used to driving. ;) The boat is in really nice shape and just needs a little TLC. She'll be up on the LI sound this summer. Georges, I talked to David about your boat. I remember loving it before Albert put it up for sale. Does it have a back bench? I remember it just being a 2 man bolster setup. |
