How fast do they run with the 225 and how reliable are they? I've heard allot of complaints about the bigger(2.5' and 300's) OB not being reliable.

What year did you switch from mounting the OB's on the transom to OB brackets?

Speeds with twin 225 Pro Max Mercs. in the low to mid 80s on GPS.

Reliability with the Pro Maxs seems to be very good.

Late 80s we started mounting them on short offset brackets.

JO

Low to mid 80's in a 24!!!!!!!!!!!

That is sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

Love that picture of the 24 in the air like that, but I am afraid I would have to go for a swim after that, just to flush the shorts out!!!!!!

Are some of the older O/B ones set up this way at all?? unfortunately I dont think I will have the $$$$ to buy a new one anytime soon.
There are three for sale in Florida right now. Two i/o's and 1 twin o/b. So you can have your pick.:p
