Has anyone ever built or seen a 28 sit down I gota do the int this winter Im leaning toward this direction?? Also head set intercom nice I rode in a boat and loved it ..

You'd need to cut down the deck, per Jo.
Unless you had some tall bases for the seats fabricated.

I have a mock up seat this weekend Its gona bee a sit down .I should have most everything figured out by next weekend .I feel prety strong ly Im gona start a new trend the short freeboard with the sit down gives the boat a new feel.post soon

Its a 540 got afr heads and 1471 intercooled 950 hp holleys its gona be 9to one with 7 lbs probaly the 553 in the boat is still runing its gota come out soon .

The leg wraps take the seats to 1400 each the others are a little less

Motors out and interior is about ready to come out . Motor is just about asembled. Int should be done in 2-3 weeks

That thing looks great!!! What are you doing with the old seats/stands??? I have a custom 3-man stand up for the 24, I really need the stands, if they will work, but also considering just doing the regular bolsters, not sure yet, just throwing it out there to see whats up??? How do those bolsters mount, is there only one stand per seat, and the other side bolts into the boat??? That is what it looks like, but I dont remember from when I have been on 28's(never had a reason to look), if that is the case, maybe I can do the same with my 3-man, and use the 2 stainless stands I have for the center???

-I did a sitdown bucket seat version instead of the bolsters in my 24 SB. Just wanted to give you an idea that an angled helm makes it really nice with sitting lower in the buckets. It was "weird" with the wheel being so flat in the standup setup. Talk to you later.

I curently have a tilt wheel so Im hopeing I wont have a problem and Im not going real low on my seat hight

Brian your motor looks great. Post some pic's when you install your dipstick, I'm still Not happy with how mine turned out.


P.S Did you use the pick up that came with that oil pan or did you use something else?

Its a bolt on pick up and the dip stick is stainless hard line real nice needs no hold down ..
