Wil - Your hull was very competitive in A-Class as Lil Deuce Coupe, although Fred and Alva didn't race it very often. When Rob Stopanio got involved after A-Calss changed to SVL in, the boat kicked azz.

The Scorpion boat set the APBA SVL Kilo record at 98.829 mph in June 2001.

It depends on who you ask. Some would say when Bronx Phantom, Rain X Express (Batboat) and La Baby Argentina were allowed to race, the non-canopied boats were at a disadvantage and many decided not to compete..........leading to the birth of F-1.
