Have you taken my suggestion and teamed up with PRA ??? Instead of trying to reinvent a wheel that is already made??
Like i said at both meetings (PRA AND BE SAFE) Politics ruined boat racing and we dont need splintred groups doing essentaly the same thing
Make sure the two work as one NO POLITICS it is the reason there are fewer racers and MORE poker runners
DO NOT RUIN THIS SPORT WITH POLITICS!!!!

Yes, we heard you loud and clear. An agreement with PRA was reached before the end of the Miami show. PRA and EBM will be running joint press releases in the next issue of the magazines to explain the working relationship.

Politic's in racing ran amuck in'03 to the detriment of all of us.
I personally have vowed to change the way I attack the new season in racing !
#1 By being positive and dealing only with whats real . No more conjecture.
#2 By working to grow the sport , rather than talk about it .
# 3 Helping to buildup the organization I am part of ,rather than tearing down the one I am not !
Poker runner's ,YOU should be doing the same . Save what you have by taking care of it . Deal with the important issues as they come up ,then move on. Leave the Nay sayers behind to waller in their own rubble . ..while enjoying the fruit's of our own labor . ( just my .02cents)

I am happy to hear that the two groups will be working as one...
After-all, this is about SAFETY right ?
As a Poker Runner, I feel everyone should run as safe as they can. If changes are to be made then the participants should be informed as soon as possible, so as to allow sufficient time to prepare for their events...
With that being said, I will post "some" of the suggestions that I understand was discussed at the EBM meeting...
This is not a complete list, nor is it the final provisions being made.
I assume we have to wait for the magazine to come out for that .......
For those of you that do not subscribe to the magazines, and have any further questions or comments in your immediate club or organization, I suggest you contact them to see what changes they will be making in their safety standards.
The Safety Summit was to develope guidelines for organizations to have the "option" to adopt. They are not mandatory for anyone to specifically use...
After-all, this is about SAFETY right ?
