Another awesome year for the James River Poker Run. Even though I broke still had a great time at the party. The new hotel this year was also extremely nice. Thanks to Steve and everyone else involved on putting on another great event. Anyone have pictures??

I have to agree totally. Steve has done a fantastic job. This was my first and will not be my last. We really enjoyed running the run and hanging out with all the good people. This was probably the best group of people that you will ever find in a large poker run. I believe Steve said at the drivers meeting that we we had 96 boats. The party rocked on Saturday night too

I downloaded mine, but I need to put them on a CD, bring them to work and put them online... Faster connection, would take 2 years to download pics on my snail connection at home..

THanks RPBA, was an awesome time, few mishapes but every came out physically unharmed, except for the liver damage, and my neck damage from staring at the HOT woman... Good god, VA actually does have some thongs!!!! YES!!!

Everyone is thanking Steve but I have to add a little info:

I socialize with Steve and the rest of the RPBA board in both boating and non-boating events. Steve works his azz off for this run, but a number of other individuals do too. I have been amazed at the number of hours these people put in, the hours they miss from work, and preparation that goes into this many months in advance. If you were at the event did you notice the group that had to sit at the table while everyone drew cards for 1/2 the night. How much do you think they enjoy this event when they can't join the party. Some of them didn't even get a chance to eat dinner. Do you think the hotel just knew how to set up for us....Lee Martin made several trips down there to meet with them and make sure everything was perfect. Same with Tidewater, making room and assigning 100 slips requires a little effort in a marina that is already full.

Steve is only as good as the people willing to help him. I'm glad I can call all of them my friends!

Thanks again guys, I had a blast!!!
