no not today, my 35 Fountain lightning has the motors pulled and is getting a complete overhall. Should be done the 1st week in march.

Woke up this morning and the roar of the surf told me there would be no boating today.

We will be boating tomorrow and having lunch at the Flash.

Looks like the naples crews are gonna sit this one out. With the wind, cold weather, and many boats backing out it's not lookin good. We are lookin foward to the next one!




I FOUND MY BOAT, IT'S ON MY LIFT!

Having trouble posting picks of the Gulf but in any case it is not recommended anyone travel in the Gulf this morning. It is still a little rough out there.
The run is still on however for anyone willing to trailer in or those from Cape Coral / Ft Meyers who will be travelling down the river. We will be staying in the protected waters of Intercoastal Waterway and Pine Island Sound.
Nice sunny day, but on the cool side as we knew it would be.
Have a nice day and I will see whoever shows up at Sanibel Harbor Resort at 10:30 am.

Today's Fun Run is Cancelled

I have just spent the last 15 min. on the phone talking with guys from Naples to Cape Coral and the consensus is that we should postpone to another day. While it is a sunny day it is just to cool and windy. Sorry that the plug was pulled at the last minute but I had really hoped that we could pull this off.
Guess not everyone is as hard core as myself. Enjoy your day whatever you end up doing.
