I thought the Toys for Tots run was on the St. John's river?

It is this year. The last two years it was on the Harris Chain of Lakes. I believe it's starting Palatka this year, and running south down the St John's, up Dunn's Creek to Crescent Lake.

We are running that exact same route tomorrow with a Donzi group, provided it's not too cold for me.

I've never been up Dunn's Creek, but from seeing from Hwy 17, I don't think you'd have a problem in the Nordic. I'll let you know after tomorrow.

We just pulled Deb's 22 out of the garage for a shine and start it up. It didn't seem to want to start, so the only thing I could figure it was out of gas. The guage read an eighth of a tank left. Took it up to the station and filled it. It took 52 gallons. Not bad fora 53 gallon tank. Fired right up when we got home. I just hope I don't freeze out tomorrow. I'm cold right now from being out there getting damp while running the engine.

There will be a couple of us in the river in the green cove area. Where is the Donzi group heading?

I grew up on the Harris chain and work in Mt. Dora. I was just speaking with some members of the Mt. Dora chamber a couple weeks ago about putting together a poker run. There is a lot of interest, would just need to get it coordinated.

I have contacts with all the local chambers, Mt. Dora, Tavares, Eustis and Leesburg if we want city involvement.
