EUROPES BIGGEST POKER RUN 2005, 2006 EVEN BIGGER 2007!!!

We had 60 powerboats 2006 with participants from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and more.

We are waiting even more boats for 2007!

The Swedish boats meet up at "American Car" show in Norrtalje Sweden 04:00pm and then drives together over The Aland Sea to "Poker Run Aland" in the Aland Island, where teh legend Don Aronow raced in Class 1 in the 1960:ths!!

What is "PokerRun Åland 2007?

LOTS OF BOATING, EXCITEMENT, SHOW, PARTY, POKER, SURPRISES AND ROCK AND ROLL.

Poker Runs are very popular in for example USA and Europe. "Poker Run Åland 2006" means lots of fun power boating, poker and fun activities together with people interested in powerboats and boating. Lots of activities at ÅSS Marina, ÅSS restaurant “Segelpaviljongen” and the best and famous hotel, restaurants and nightclub "Arkipelag". (See links below!!)

ÅSS Segelpaviljong and ÅSS Marina

ÅSS Segelpaviljong is one of the oldest and best restaurants at Åland. It is run by the from TV and many books famous chef Michael Björklund. During the “Poker Run Åland 2007” it is possible to enjoy a special “Poker Run Åland” menu and drink at the restaurant.

There is also going to be beer tents, presentations from companies and other activities at the ÅSS restaurant and harbor. Head of the harbor is Raphael Karlsson. He takes care of you and inform you about everything you can need from sauna to ropes!.......

I regularly work in Norway and the rest of Europe and may in fact be spending a week or two over at that time. I'll know more as next month comes about but would like to learn more and determine if there's the possiblity of riding with a crew since I likely won't be sending my boat across the big pond.

Thank you for the invite. It seems that you all have the same passion and comradery for powerboating as we do over here. I unfortunately would not be able to attend as this summer is shaping up to be a busy one. As a Floridian it just seems that there are so many destinations and so little time. If you do attend the Boat show in 2008 make sure to plan on attending the FPC/OSO party as I understand it is a great time. Maybe next summer for a trip to your side. I would love to experience powerboating European style, it looks like you folks have some good fun over there. Anyway good luck with your run this summer and hope to see some of your crew in Miami
