Hey throttleup, loose the attitude. I paid for that jacket and don't maken a penny for putting on this run. You want to do a better job, put your time and money and insurance liability on the line. Enough said!

Not for nothing but until Hump starts charging "Poker Runs America" entry fees don't expect any payout of sorts.
One of the reasons this run is so attractive is the cost to enter is very low for what you receive.
If you want to start paying $650-$700 per boat plus an additional $125.00 per person for a poker run plus your fuel plus plus etc.
Sign up for the A Bay run or the 1000 isles run and you will get your "payout" .....
Don't get me wrong everyone would like some extra cash ..... but it is what it is .....
If he starts charging these type of fees ..... you can bet alot of other people who would of normally signed up because of the fun of it and not have a lot of money laid out for the run won't be moving forward.
This is just my opinion .......

I am asking because I was told there was going to be a Payout, now hear there won't be! I am going to Seneca Lake next weekend and paid $200.00 to enter and they have a $3,000 dollar purse.....I'm not saying a huge payout but a couple hundred bucks would be nice.

I heard through the grapevine(quality sources) that next year you Will be paying PRA prices.
I am sure Humpy put in a lot of time and it will be a great time. I am sure a few others along with myself are just upset because we were lied to. We were all told directly that there would be a payout, now less than a week to go and Humpy has collected all of the money, we all find out there is nothing. We all know we arent in it for the money but..... kind of a dick move IMO.
Should be a good run and a nice turnout though, I appologize to all of those who have put in many hours and dedication towards this. You should not be dragged down because of one mans actions.

Any pay out will be based on the number of entries less expences for the banquet, shirts, awards, insurance etc. It usually costs about 7k to put the event on. Do the math. And there is the charity also.

Ok here is the Math. 75 boats x $125.00avg. = $9,375.00 + Sponsor $ ~ $11,000 - $7,000costs = $4.000.00 - $3,000.00 Charity = $1,000.00. 1st $500, 2nd $300.00, 3rd $100.00, Best Looking Boat $100.00.
- Don't get me wrong Hump you but on a Great Event and I do know first hand how much goes into putting this together!
