You got twin small blocks in your Donzi? A friend of mine down here has either a '98 or '99 with 350 mags. Sweet boat and extremely fuel efficient.

Yes, it has two 350 Mags and it does great on fuel. On most poker runs i wont burn more than half tank=50 gallons and i run it hard.

Definitely going to be a good (long) weekend. Got people coming from several states. Got several friends coming from Alabama on Thursday evening. We usually try to make a "fun run" on Friday. Rain washed us out last year but we'll try it again.

Would like to do the Fun Run. We are planning on leaving Austin on Thursday morning and driving straight there. Still trying to find a closer place to stay right now we are about 20 miles away from the Chevron and need a place to keep the trailers.

I'm getting that info together for ya on trialer storage. Been kinda hectic here this week. The storage is only about a mile from Charlie's place.

If you're still looking for accomodations, check www.carterplantation.com. It's a David Toms designed golf course (part of the Audubon Trail). They have "villas" for rent at the course and it's only a couple miles from Charlie's as well. Don't know if they have availability for that weekend but it's worth a shot.

is this the 3 WISHIES boat out of Monroe LA?

Thats what the bottom Stickers said. Someone had covered those up with "'The Man From Contraband" and put skull & Crossbones all over it. It's now Fuelin' Around. It has had a lot of abuse and needs to be gelled or painted but that can wait. She was a wreck when we got her and have put a ton of green into already but she's coming around.

That boat has been around the Monroe area for year's, the last owner didn't take very good care of the boat. But back in the day this was a GREAT looking boat. I had looked a buying her last year, however just didn't have the time or money to make the boat right again. PLease post some pics. of the up-dates you have made. Thanks Scott
