Can't wait to meet more of you guys up there. We are up only 2 or 3 times per summer, but next yr we will stay longer than a week each time. I always try to get up past ABay/bridge a couple times. We did the Alex Bay run in 05, 06, 07 and LOVED it....we won 2nd place in 05' & in 07' we took the winner takes all prize! I was the smallest boat!!! This yr, because our baby is due June 16th I am planning on doing the 1000Islands run in August instead of ABay in June...Hope to see some of you guys in 09'.
Feel free to call in the spring...

Hey Ken, I meant to ask you?, do you have any idea who owns that cat you see rippin around Carlton Island from time to time?, I have only seen [and HEARD!!] it a couple of times, but, it looks like a DCB, about 32-34 ft, sounds, really, REALLY healthy!, Just wondered if you had seen it?, have you been up river a little bit West and checked out the giant boathouse that fellow has built on the North shore?, quite impressive.
HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS AND SAFE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!, LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING SOME MEMBERS WHEN THEN WATER ISN'T FROZEN!!!

Yes I have heard it and seen it.
I know nothing about it except every once in a while I see the boat pulled and sitting on a trailer next to RT12E in Cape Vincent.
My neighbor's brother drags his HTM cat from Ohio every year and rips around for a week or so.
If you are talking about the boat house with the house on top of it, yes I have seen it and I just hope he has one hell of a lot of pilings because the ice woiuld love that place.

Great!, I am NOT imagining things then!, ha ha. I may have seen your neighbours brother's HTM also, if not, I would sure like to!. I have not had a chance to get a really good look at the boathouse/house place, only from a distance, local scuttlebutt on the Island says he is an airline pilot and he has bought a big chunk of land and is building quite a place, like yourself, I hope it survives the ice, I have seen first hand what the ice on that river can do, destroyed MANY a well built dock, thanks again for the reply, have a great Christmas!

I have an 82 Formula 302, we do some of the poker runs around
we come in last all the time (speed), but the crew and I always have a blast....and we even get the oldest and slowest boat award
At the end of the day its all about the fun
Try it you will be hooked
