I was in the water diving for him...we were all tied up to a local club owners boat. Some boats were tied on the rear at about a 2 foot gap from the slide. It was a triple decker boat and a boy was on top and was told not to go down the slide but did. He went down and hit the boat which knocked him unconscious. We were idling up right when it happened and I dove off and went down with a light. After me and several others dove for about 10 mins the law showed up and they knew the chances were bad. Divers found him 30 ft straight below the boat about 45 mins later. He was staying with his parents 2 boats down. Didn't know the kid but it was a tragedy and caused for a sleepless night knowing we were over top just couldn't find him in the water. Keep the family in your prayers. He was from our tri state area I beleive Evansville, in

I'm streched out on the houseboat here at statedock resting from a long weekend of partying. I must say this was one of the best runs that I've been to. I am sure sorry to hear about the boy that died last night.

I was kinda disAppointed outerlimits wasn't there myself but anyhow had a great time & a wonderful weekend & weather .... LCM I believe filed for bankruptcy or somethin of that nature sure someone will chime in with correct info
I'd have to say that I'm surprised there wasn't more accidents or tragedies in Harmon I went through there around 5 & had I don't know many people just swim right out in front of me &/or people come down slides right out in front of me
Terrible way for such a great weekend to end....

Awesome awesome weekend. We WILL be back next year for sure...I'm bringing my boat for sure! Harmon was incredible. Heard about the tragedy this morning, horrible news. Watched a lot of dumb things happen, though...like people jumping off the back of running boats and nearly getting propped. Overall, the run was great...thanks to Boatfreak for all the assistance in helping us find our way around!
