I ran a 7 box and that coil on my M4 charged 540, worked well just keep up with corrosion on distributor reluctor and keep inside of cap clean. Otherwise spark duration issues and arcing will occur.

it was great seeing everyone again!!! had a few good runs up and down the lake with 6-10 other boats. Im glad we finally found a GOOD raft up spot, may make us want to come up for more than just pirates weekend. Thank you kelly o for that ride ......wow........108......and I saw you had some more to go.....awesome!!!!!! pres and vp you two are something else, I am lost for words besides that. thanks donroc for putting the band together I dont think I got a chance to meet you but count the Pa crew in for next year, wherever you have this, and we'll meet then.

Pirates Run May live on again

Rumor has it ,direct from Vp's mouth ( He was Overserved and falling down at the time of this quote around 1 am sat night mind you ) That he the Prez and Donroc are having top secret meetings to revive the Pirates Run in the old format somewhere, somehow on seneca lake. We need to have a show of fellow pirates that we would be willing to make this event happen by showing up and walking the plank in needed.

I have also heard this rumor. I am really thinking a offshore race, or a mock race. it went over great in Lake George. I have been in contact with the promoter there. My thought is if a mock race we would have 3-4 classes, 65-75-85-95. We would display the boats Saturday in the parking lot for the public to view and talk with the race drivers for a few hours then race Saturday night and maybe some Sunday depending on the turnout. I found a hotel on the lake that wants us and has live bands Saturdays so they are used to and love the business. The slips are only about 15 so we may have to pull the boats at a nearby state launch or put in some temporary moorings, or anchor. This is a long way from happening I am way too busy to do much in the summer so would need help. These are just an idea. What say you all
