Looks like alot of us are backing out at the last minute, six boats in my group alone...Seems no one has any idea whats going on during the weekend for this get together.Hope you guys have a fun and safe get together.

same thing that happens every year. one great party. don't cancel just because you don't have a planned poker run course. i'm sure there will be plenty of people who want to go for a ride on sat. looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Maybe you missed the earlier post's so I will recap.
Friday is a DJ
Saturday, SPBA is having a BBQ and I have the best band in upstate playing Saturday night. There will be a lot of boats there.
Sunday is a day to hang out and re coop, maybe a trip to a warm water outlet for some swimming.
I think all the hotels on the lake are booked, or nearly, the place will be packed.
You will miss out. SPBA has always put on a great party, I cant imagine just because the boats will not be going on an "organized" run will change that. Pretty sure the most fun is at the Showboat after the run anyway wasn't it? Sorry to hear you are bailing, the plans have been the same. I know I will have a great time. A bunch of boats, a cookout, followed by an awesome band. I cant imagine wanting to be anywhere else. So far looks like Friday and Saturday will be 80's and sunny.

the Pa gang will be there ready to party!!!!! anyone that may have any thoughts of not going, your going to miss a great time. Last year it started raining friday night and didnt stop untill sunday about noon and we still had a great time. This isnt just about the boating its about the people there, your not going to find a better group anywhere!!! well except that chambers guy, he is just a little "special"
