They would love to have us come for lunch but would appreciate some kind of head count by Wednesday of next week so they have a general idea what to expect.
So I would appreciate it if those who have already confirmed could edit their post to reflect a head count for their boat- as well as anyone else who confirms that they want to make the run.
Once again we are meeting outside The State Dock idle zone in the big bowl Friday am and leaving approx at 11:30 eastern (10:30 central- state dock time). The run to Conley is 22 miles. They don't serve alcohol there but passangers have been known to take a well covered up neverage and enjoy it on the deck. It is a dry county though.

Its going to be tight run for me. If we leave at 10:30 get there around 11 ish I have to leave Conley by 12. We have to board our houseboat at 1:30, and can start loading an hour early I understand. I still plan on running down though. Anyone else going to be in the same time resrtictions as me.

Great weather down here right now - I just hope it holds up for the weekend.
BTW, I have a crowd that wants to do the fun run on Friday so I'll be running the Xflgiht people hauler instead of the Fountain. Those who are wanting to know if anyone else will be running sub 60 neeed not worry
Looking forward to seeing you guys Friday am.

OK Guys. I just got home from the garage, boat is ready to go. Check the air in all the trailer tires, polish the aluminum plates on the trailer and the center wheel hubs as you have to look good when you pull in. Grease the buddy bearing and equalizer arms, shot a couple of pumps into the gimbel bearing and retighten the props.
The World Famous Blondes Preferred should be there by 12:00pm Thursday. Still trying to hook a couple more blondes but as usual they always want to go, then when its time Oh I got something to do this weekend. Women!
As bad as we need rain I hope it holds off one more weekend then it can rain till I leave for Florida at the end of the month.
See you guys in about 18 hours. Drive safe.
