When launching at Brewerton BoatYard if your boat is longer then 29' there is a "Trolly Ramp" for 50'plus boats down past the regular ramp, This ramp is much more gradual and VERY wide. Ask at the counter and they will direct you in the right direction.

Sharkey-Images will be covering this event !
I put this event on my schedule ever since the Snow Mobile Poker Run over the winter where all of those that registered for that event received a discount coupon from Sharkey-Images that can be used towards any purchase through the website good until 12/31/2010.
I confirmed today with Nolan that I would make the trip up to come cover this event.
I realize this event is still in the growing stages and the organizers would like to try to get as much money raised for Make-A-Wish this year.
Therefore, I have waived my photo shoot fee for the organization and I will be coming to capture as much coverage as possible in order to help with promoting this event in the future.
I will be working on the details and locations for the best shots for the participants and their boats.
It will be great to get a chance to shoot many different boats that I have not had an opportunity to shoot before.
Let's pray for some great weather. Sunshine always makes for good pics.
I will look to provide special Pre-Paid Photo Packages as well.

Thanks Sharkey! Obviously this guys got it going on.It will be a privelage to have your talents along on this run.Folks this gentleman has gotten some incredible shots of us at the last two races.Talk with him before the run and make sure he has the lens pointed in your direction

Make A Wish
Hi everyone, after some long and much overdue time we have got the particulars worked out for The Swamp Run 2010 on Oneida Lake. For those that may not be aware of this FUN-RUN this is our 6th year hosting this run, and like the last 2 years to Benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year the run will be held on July 31st 2010 at The WaterFront Tavern http://thewaterfronttavern.com/ Starting and Ending there. The run will make stops at these venues located on the lake also, Harpoon Eddies http://www.sylvanbeach.com/harpoons/ , Fisher Bay Resturant http://www.fisherbayrestaurant.com/ , and The Old BoatHouse http://www.wix.com/OldBoathouse/p1 . This run would not be possible with out help from sponsors and participants, and as always we Thank Everyone involved. We have a Pre-Reg form set up to help us better perpare for this event to besure we are donateing as much as possible and that we are prepared for our attendance. To all of our continued and new supporters, this season on July 31st 2010 Nys PowerBoat Inc will host for the 6Th year in a row the 2010 Swamp Run PowerBoat fun run to benefit Make-A-Wish of NY. This run will START and END at The WaterFront Tavern on Oneida Lake in Brewerton NY. Like in past years we are looking for supporting sponsors for this very special event. Last year with much help and support, we were able to raise $5100.00 for Make-A-Wish, enough to grant a wish for one of many very special children associated with the Make-A-Wish foundation. Nys PowerBoat Inc specializes in creating, hosting, and promoting Fun. Safe, and Organized events, focused at benefiting charitable organizations of many kinds and sizes, and has so far hosted over 25 successful events of this kind. At this event we will hold a live auction for all donated items we have received, we will welcome any donations as well as financial donations of any size (every little bit is a huge step towards our goal of beating last years donation).
