Come on you can't leave us hanging like that! At least give us a little teaser of what may come to pass. I can't wait it's the one thing I'm looking forward to as much as getting delivery of the new boat.

I would like to let everyone know we are moving from Jordan Point Marina to the Appomattox Small Boat Harbor for all our Friday and Saturday morning activities. We have been getting no cooperation from Jordan Point on what I'm quite certain was there biggest weekend of the summer. I would like to request that everyone not call them or patronize them in any manor. They DO NOT want the powerboats there.
Our new location has a better ramp and all the Truck/Trailer parking we will need and is easier to get to from I-95. We will be tight for slips here so anyone who can wait and launch on Saturday morning it will be a big help. We are going to have the Crazy-X band play after the Captains meeting on Friday night and there will be a beer truck and food available. Departing the Boat Harbor on Saturday will be a single file 9 mile run to the James and we will depart in groups with one of locals leading each group. We will still stage up for the start at the Ben Harrison Bridge just as in the past. There is a new Sleep Inn Hotel less than a mile from the Marina and as of today they had 41 rooms available on Friday night. There rate is $99.00 and there no. is 804-732-3737. For those of you who have already booked in Chester it is about an 8 mile drive to the Marina.
These changes are for the better and we will finally be able to host a party on Friday night like we have been wanting to do for years. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call me at 757-880-1725 or James Barton at 804-539-3114.
Thanks and looking forward to seeing everyone.
