I have Pete (Transomstand on S&F) as my weather/chart/graph guy . He's usually spot on .
Putting 100 boats on the river (especially north of Middletown where it gets much narrower) didn't seem like a good plan .
Sun. was a great day for puttin' around and hanging out but not the best for a 60 + mile run at speed .
So , Kreed do you take your boat out on Pocotopaug ?
I pull the nieces around on tubes there sometimes . Have a shack down off North Main.

Some will be "beaching" in weeds but they are soft weeds . There is still a 2" layer of mud where we walk so I would advise bringing a pair of boots to slip on when out of your boat . 100 yards north of the abandoned sail boat is best for larger boats .

didnt look like thered be any way I could make this week but now it MAY happen if the planets align properly.
I hope theres still a good turn out. I am sure there will be.
