Nothing close to "normal" on the river today
.
Gonna keep rising until tomorrow .
Saw 40 boats at Harbor Park .
Robb's Skater is beautiful , loved the sound of all those big blocks , the V-Drive was awesome !
Hope everybody got home safe and with nothing broken .
At Rocky Hill I saw a bowrider being towed with the lower unit broken right off .
Jeff , I saw your boat but couldn't find you .

I wish I could make this weekend but it doesnt seem to be in the cards for me.
I hope you have a killer turn out and with al this publicity it might be even better than a regular year.
One way or the other know ones gonna forget about it!

Thanks Team donzi !!!
I was PHUCKED without a tow. The branch under my boat was 12 ft long and 10 inches in diameter. I was going no where. we shouldnt have cut her loose until I had the OB's up but they couldnt hold it after taking the line loose.
I knew that pic would surface eventually.LOL
I had a blast. stuff like that doesnt bother me at all. I saw NO REASON to not boat yesterday.
I would have been out with or without a run!
What could be better than seeing natures fury at its best.
Guys will tell thier children about this run and we were there!!!!!!!

Rich, I take all my comments about jumping the gun back! You definately made the right call.WAY too much $hit in the river for ANY type of boat. We made it through it all ,but could have gotten ugly. Other than that, great to see that many boats at Harbor park. Lots of nice boats and lots of nice people. I kinda like having 2 river runs!

Putting 100 boats on the river (especially north of Middletown where it gets much narrower) didn't seem like a good plan .
Sun. was a great day for puttin' around and hanging out but not the best for a 60 + mile run at speed .
So , Kreed do you take your boat out on Pocotopaug ?
I pull the nieces around on tubes there sometimes . Have a shack down off North Main.
