I leave 1st thing tomorrow morning for an early morning shoot and then onto North East , Md. with a convoy of boats .

I SHOULD NOTE:

I have been contracted to shoot for Marine Unlimited and their customers boats for the weekend...

The Run itself may or may not have their own photographer to cover the event. I haven't heard for sure...

My main focus will be with the Marine Unlimited Boats ...

All others can check with the promoter to see if they have a photographer on hand..

Good luck Tim and have fun, I hope everything goes well for you and the Marine Unlimited guys. Call me when or if you happen to sit next to JJ at any point after the run is over. I have a few things I'd like to ask him at that point in time

WOW, nice turn out...good to see someone like JJ and his wife that are so willing to donate their time and effort to donate the runs proceeds to the (2) charities they have listed.

Tim, make sure you get a photo of the DONATION check(s) that they are presenting.

80+ boats at 300 a pop minus some food and music = A COUPLE BIG FAT CHECK'S

As stated above, my concentration will be on my client and their customers with their boats.

I will leave it up to them on what they would like shot...

I don't intend on covering "THE EVENT" as I typically would.

Especially IF the organization already has someone for that...

Have fun Tim and I bet the guys that are not included in the group that you are hired to shoot will be jelouse. You always do a great job Tim and are a tough one to beat. I hope all goes well for you and your group and maybe someone in the group will get the lucky cards Enjoy the waters down there, it is a great place to boat and there is a lot of fun to be had in that area.

Kinda nice to shoot this event instead of the race this weekend in Jersey City.

It's not looking like a pleasant experience up there.

Homeland Security and the 911 ceremonies and all. From what I read on SBI's website the race has to start by 9AM and all of the boats off the river by 10:30 AM.

Sounds like "Get In and Get Out!"

Not sure if they are even allowed to have anything at Liberty State Park on Sunday ?

Not to mention the tons of debris coming down the river after all of the floods from Hurricane Irene....

Kinda of worried myself about the debris in Maryland as well...

The Conowingo dam is WAY over flood stage and all gates are open. If the run is going off they need to be very aware of debris in the upper Bay, it is going to be ugly.
