Having organized several boating events, I can tell you that no one knows how difficult it is to pull one of these off. There is so much more to it than a band and some t-shirts. The liability issues alone both on the water and off the water are HUGE. First, finding a carrier to underwrite it and second affording the policy. We had to buy terrorism insurance this year for our event. I feel sorry for the organizers because at some point, it becomes somewhat of a thankless job. Sorry guys, sounds like you had a great event.

What a day!!!! For the last 6yrs at this time I would normally be counting down the hours til' I was hammer down on the 90 with a smile thinking, who will be there? What will the lake be like, will I remember my name, Will I need AAA after the weekend, do I need (2) 30 packs or three and the list goes on and on. I do understand everyone's views but it just SUCKS......
