We strongly encourage all participants to wear life jackets during our event - this is one of the top items on our captains meeting - I wish all would wear them throughout the event. I will admit there are times when i or members of my crew do not have them on. With the introduction of cameras being everywhere, we can really see how fast "accidents" can occur.

I took a sunday afternoon boat ride in the fishing boat with the wife and little boy, we did the whole poker run route minus the stops. The only things we saw floating were crab trap corksokers.

to Ccando - Launchs are back down - at Bonnabel or Williams water is brackish to fresh - in Slidell you will find a higher salinity - this is about an 80 mile run round trip - or about 50 miles from Slidell to the end - No Ethanol is available at 'Dock in Slidell" and Seabrook Marina - i think midgrade - Helo is fro photographer & video - No divers - Spoke with K earlier in the week - I believe he is signing up on Thursday - (impression I got)
Feel free to call me with any questions
