I would love to do it one day too. What is the slow pack running? I run high 70s with a 80 every now and then would I be able to keep up ok?

Yes, lots of center consoles in that range as well. Stu and Jackie have tuned the club to cater to some of the smaller and more cruiser orientated boats over the past couple years.

Yes, I agree with what you all said here.

We take all day to run safely through the Keys from Miami. We only have so much time / daylight to work with. And we do officially make two stops (Lunch & Sunshine Key).

The reason we do not include dockage in the event fee is because (in some cases) the dockage fee in Key West and Miami is actually higher than the event fee! For the $750 event fee: We do a bag (for two) with personalized shirts, hats, decal, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and we give away a car & other prizes. Event DVD & TV coverage, magazine coverage...

The city of Key West chooses the the prices (Miami too) for the hotels & dockage (food and drinks) - and it is not cheap! BUT we do have a lot of fun!

Yellow is Performance group - 70-90 - with a pace boat optional
Red is High Performance - they run on their own (no pace boat) 90+

There is place on Stock Island that charged about $23-25 a day for trailers etc last year. Can't remember the name now but I'm sure someone will chime in.

Correct! I boated 1 way, needed a place to store my trailer + ramp access to pull my boat out, I used this very place but the name escapes me too. Nice facility, lots of room, friendly staff.

I want to believe it's in the FPC PR info packet which may even be viewable online.

Stu & Jackie do a great job organizing this event & include lots of pertinent ifo realizing everyones needs are different.

We have parked rigs at http://floridamarinaclubs.com/ourlocations/key-west/ before.

They have a ramp and a travel-lift; and it's a meticulous facility.
