It's real off-shore boating with plenty of elbow room!

Cumberland and in particular State Dock is my home dock. I don't think you can compare the two as they are just two completly different animals. They both have beautiful water but that's about all they have in common. Cumberland has room for 100 poker run boats as they empty their houseboat dock to make room.

I was not really referring to the water.... I know how Lake Michigan is... Or can be. I was wondering about the docks... The party. Live bands? Stuff of that nature. I have always said LC put on one heck of an event. This sounds like it's right up there with that caliber of planning and activitys.

The entry fee covers 4 meals, Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, Saturday box lunch, and Saturday dinner. The food is way above average, border line high class.

That's awesome if Cumberland can fit so many boats. Its not the common though for ALL boats to have a PRIVATE dock in ONE location without RAFTING. That's what some seem to be asking for Boyne to accomplish.

Boyne Thunder fit 80 boats last year with minimal rafting. This year I feel even more boats can fit.

If my memory is correct Boyne Thunder tried limiting how many boats can sign up in the past and STILL had complaints!? People begged to sign up no matter if they had a dock promised or not. So this year they allow others to sign up if they are ok with not having a promised dock and again complaints!?

Good news though Boyne City has already approved the Marina Expansion project so there will be more slips for 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see more boats than last year and months still to go! Great for everyone involved.

FWIW we've been course marshals at a couple different places on the route each years and it sure seems like everyone is having a good time regardless of where they dock as they pass by our stations.

Awesome!!! Glad to have you! This will be my wife's first time actually participating as a passenger in the run so I am hoping for the same weather we had last year.
