I didn't mention Seneca Lake as it is a couple of hours further then Buffalo. However it is a great run on one of the most beautiful lakes you will ever see! Great bunch of people who will make you feel welcome, and a wide variety of boats. It would be the ideal first run. Plus if you like it you could still do Buffalo.

Do it man...I have done Boyne Thunder the last couple years (which is one of the top 3 big dog runs in the country these days) in an old 22 foot resin bucket with a 330 hp 454 and have been treated great everytime!!
