He is the best instructor they have at the GlassDave Acadamey of Fiberglass Engineering and Performance Boat Operations.
We were running hard that day so that he could analyze and grade my structural engineering, design and implementation project, which addressed structural deficiencies with the original build of the boat,
The project was my sophomore year final assignment and was an astounding success.

Hi guys,
Quick question.... I have been wondering about poker runs for many seasons now and I just replied to a post that made me really want to get more educated. Are poker runs all fast boats? If I show up with a 70 mph boat will I just be laughed at? Please be honest... I have never been to one and only see YouTube videos with triple digit boats. I just started a business and have a lot invested, so my nova will have to do for the next season or two (hate payments) and I really want to go to one or two poker runs and start meeting people who enjoy the same obsession as me, but don't want to be the "Slow guy" everybody ignores. Help a Poker Run Newbie out! Thanks guys! Brian From Cleveland.

I can tell you...get involved. I waited too long to enjoy the fun and still regret it.

Senaca is a great run for a first run. Low key. Everyone is glad for you to be there. Lots of normal boats too. You won't feel like the slow guy there. We were there on a friends boat and I want to say 65-75% of all the boats ran in the 60mph class
